Cookie policy
What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser; similar entries can be kept in the browser’s local storage. We use as few as possible: one strictly necessary setting that remembers your choice and — only if you agree — analytics and advertising measurement.
What we set before you consent
Your cookie choice (accept all, reject all, or individual categories) is stored in your browser’s local storage under the name clv-consent. It is strictly necessary, never leaves your device, expires after 12 months, and you can change or delete it at any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer. Apart from it, we set nothing and load nothing until you agree.
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a short-lived, strictly necessary cookie (__cf_bm) that tells malicious bots from human visitors.
Analytics — Google Analytics 4 (optional)
Provider: Google Ireland Limited (Google LLC, USA). Purpose: pseudonymous statistics about which pages are visited and where visitors drop out of the booking process (viewing a quote, going to payment, a confirmed booking, clicks on contact links), so we can improve the site — no advertising personalisation. Cookies: _ga and _ga_* (2 years, Google’s default). Loaded only after you consent; if you withdraw, the scripts stop and these cookies are deleted. Configuration: no advertising personalisation and no Google signals; page views of known routes and the events listed above. For a booking, only the amount, the number of nights and guests and the booking reference are sent; your name, e-mail, phone number, dates of stay and private booking links never leave your browser.
Marketing — Meta Pixel (optional)
Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Limited (Meta Platforms, Inc., USA). Purpose: measure whether our adverts on Facebook and Instagram lead to visits and bookings on this site. Events: viewing the apartment, viewing a quote, going to payment, a confirmed booking (amount, number of nights and guests, booking reference) and clicks on contact links. Your name, e-mail, phone number and dates of stay are not sent. Cookie: _fbp (up to 3 months), readable by Meta. Loaded only after you consent; if you withdraw, it stops and the cookie is deleted.
Managing cookies
- On your first visit the consent banner appears; “Reject all” is exactly as prominent as “Accept all”. Only the categories you accept are ever loaded.
- At any time afterwards, “Cookie settings” in the footer reopens your choices — withdrawing takes effect immediately and removes the tracking cookies.
- You can also delete or block cookies and site data in your browser’s settings; that may limit what works on the site.

How we handle personal data in general is described in the privacy policy. What Google and Meta do with data once their tools are active is described in their own privacy policies (policies.google.com, meta.com/privacy).
